The world isn't standing still. Neither are we.

Grain prices under pressure. Feed margins squeezed. Labor harder to find and keep. Trade flows rerouted. EU policy shifting – again. If you run a large-scale agricultural operation – whether in Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Russia, or further east or west – you already know: the decisions you make in the next 12 months will define the next decade.

That is exactly why DFA exists. Not to add noise, but to give you the conversations, the connections, and the on-the-ground insight that make better decisions possible.

We have a packed program ahead. Below is a quick overview of what’s coming — and why it matters to you.
Reserve your dates. A few of these are filling fast.

Study Trips

🍁 Canada Study Trip: Conservation Agriculture Up Close
10–18 June 2026 | Winnipeg → Calgary → Grand Prairie → Edmonton
⚠️ FEW SEATS LEFT — Sign-up deadline: 11 April 2026
Sometimes you need to see it to believe it. And to apply it.

DFA’s Canada Study Trip focuses on Conservation Agriculture and no-till farming — one of the most talked-about and least-visited frontiers in large-scale crop production. We visit two farms per day, covering both the agronomy and the real logistics of making no-till work at serious scale.

The route: We fly into Winnipeg, pick up cars, and drive west across the Canadian prairies — stopping at a 10,000-hectare pig farm in Roblin, multiple large-scale crop operations, a Hutterian colony (Homeland Meats), a DLF seed research station in DeBolt, and CKP Farms near Taber — ending with a flight out of Edmonton. Roughly 2,000 km of Canada’s most productive agricultural land.

What’s on the program:

  • Large-scale no-till and conservation agriculture in practice
  • Machinety systems (incl. Macdon factory visit, Winnipeg)
  • Swine production at scale (Roblin)
  • Seed research: DLF DeBolt
  • Peer conversations and farm dinners along the way

✅ Dates: 10–18 June 2026 | English | Limited seats remaining

Trainings

📚 Training: Crop Manager Program 2026–27

Strong results in large-scale crop production don’t happen by accident. They happen when the right people have the right skills.

DFA’s Training Course for Mid-Level Crop Managers combines production management and people leadership — with workshops, farm visits, and real-case project work. Designed for managers who need to deliver results under real conditions and across language and cultural barriers.

Customised with Dalum Agricultural College.

🐷 Training: Practical Management & Leadership for Pig Production

For mid-level managers in pig and livestock operations — a practical, hands-on program developed in partnership with Dalum Agricultural College.

This program is built for the realities of large-scale pig production: complex operations, multinational teams, and the constant pressure to improve margins while retaining good people.

Winter Conference

📅 DFA Global Agriculture Leadership Conference 2027

28–29 January 2027 | Copenhagen
Mark your calendar now.

DFA’s annual conference returns to Copenhagen in January 2027 — and this edition has a sharper focus than ever. The DFA Global Agriculture Leadership Conference 2027 is a two-day strategic forum for owners, decision-makers, and senior leaders in large-scale farming and agri-business.

Three forces reshaping global agriculture — explored in depth:

  • AI and technology — what is actually transforming operations at scale
  • Geopolitics and trade — how shifting alliances and market access affect your business
  • Investment and emerging regions — where the next opportunities are developing

What you will take away:

  • Global outlook on agriculture and food markets — not generic trends, but what matters for your operation
  • Strategic risk understanding: geopolitics, trade flows, and their real impact on large-scale farming
  • Insights across the entire value chain — from field to market
  • Investment perspectives and emerging growth regions
  • Peer intelligence from leading international farming businesses in the countries you operate in

Conference format:

  • Strategic keynote insights from geopolitical analysts and global market strategists
  • Case interviews with industry leaders — real stories, real decisions
  • Executive roundtable discussions on global agricultural challenges
  • Networking among international farming leaders and agri-business executives

This is not a generic agriculture conference. It is a high-level executive gathering — built for owners and strategic leaders who want to challenge their assumptions and future-proof their operations.

More details on speakers, venue, and registration to follow.
