Johannes announced before the summer holidays to the board of Danish Farmers Abroad, that he wishes to stop as head of the secretariat in the association at October 1st.

For the last 11 years, Danish Farmers Abroad has benefited from having Johannes Hansen taking care of the organization. During this period, the association has grown considerably and become what Danish Farmers Abroad is and stands for today. A network for all of us who are either owners, managers, suppliers or otherwise interested in the association. We have a lot to thank Johannes for.

At the same time, the board has the very good news that, via our network, we have succeeded in making an agreement with Tom Axelgaard, who will take over from Johannes. Tom has been member of the DFA board since the last election. We therefore welcome another icon within agriculture, who has left his mark on the development of Danish agriculture abroad. Over the next few months, Johannes and Tom will work together on handing over the tasks.

We have a lot to thank Johannes for. Therefore, we hope you will also join us in celebrating him at a farewell party on Friday 27 January 2023, which we will take place in continuation of the general meeting and conference.
