Training

The association continuously offers a number of training sessions targeted the boards of the agricultural companies or groups of employees. They are offered either by the association itself or in collaboration with established training providers - eg. Aarhus University or Aros.

The intention is to offer specific training activities that reflect the wishes and needs of member group. It gives participants good opportunities to establish professional and social networks that can promote the usefulness of what has been learned.

Practical Management and Leadership Training Program

A Vocational Training Program targeted employees at internationally operating agricultural companies. 
The program is provided by DFA in corporation with Dalum Academy of Agricultural Business, Denmark.

The program includes 3 modules: (can be achieved individually)
Module 1: Management Training – starting September 2025
Module 2: Production Manager Training – starting 2026
Module 3: Farm Manager Training – starting 2027

DFA Farm Production Manager

- A course targeted the middle managers in the pig production and crop production

DFA Farm Production Manager Program is a practically oriented leadership development course targeted at middle managers with management responsibilities for employees - either as a team, section or farm manager. The Training course includes 12 days divided into 4 seminars over 13 months.

FPM Team 2024-24 will start September 2024 (11 - 13 September )

The DFA Farm Production Manager Program is based on the good experiences of 10 completed Courses and with a total of 120 participants since 2009, primarily with pig and crop managers. Experience shows that the training course provides participants with good professional and personal development for the benefit of the workplace.

DFA Crop Manager Program - CMP

- A course targeted at middle managers in the crop production

DFA Crop Manager Program is a practically oriented leadership development Training course targeted at middle managers having management responsibilities for employees in the crop production - typically for tractor drivers. The course includes 11 days divided into 3 seminars over almost a year.

Danish Farmers Abroad is an association for Danish agricultural companies abroad. The association has ongoing membership growth and includes now 58 members having activities in 44 countries.
